Rebecca sent the great ideas pictured above and wrote, "Your ornament covers
are so nifty, so much fun, it seems a shame to put them away after the holidays,
so I thought of doing some projects with them for other seasons.
"One picture is a Saint Patrick's Day ornament, with some of the Spring
Charms as dangles instead of beads. Of course, you can use other charms for
Valentine's Day, Easter, etc....All year!
"The other picture is a Victorian Reticule. (Ask anybody around here,
I'm a sucker for interesting little bags.) I used the 4" ornament cover and
stitched mine in black, then lined it with an iridescent cotton lame. Thread
cords through the eyelets at the top as drawstrings, and you have a little
purse. This could also be done in white for a bride, or in any color to
coordinate with a prom dress."
